Organic Gyokuro Green Tea, sourced directly from Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. A highly prized green tea, prized by connoisseurs for its exceptional quality and incomparable flavour. Harvested only once a year, this premium tea is made exclusively from the tenderest leaves of the tea plant.
The secret of its extraordinary flavour lies in the traditional shading technique: the tea bushes are shaded for several weeks before plucking. This process intensifies the flavour and aroma, concentrates the nutrients and develops the sweet and umami notes that characterise premium Gyokuro.
The deep, vibrant green leaves are carefully hand-picked. Immediately after plucking, the leaves are gently steamed to preserve their natural green colour, unparalleled freshness and inhibit oxidation - ensuring that all of their beneficial properties remain intact. Gyokuro is particularly rich in chlorophyll and L-theanine.

Instructions
How to prepare it at home
Quantity : 2-3g of product per cup (250ml)
First Infusion : Time 2-3 minutes / Water temperature: 70° C
Second Infusion : Time 40/50 seconds at 80° C
When to serve it: During the day. To be enjoyed in moments of relaxation and peace.
Use the best water:
The water temperatures and infusion times indicated for good tasting include a type of water with a low fixed residue, around 20 - 40 mg/L
