Eco-friendly PACKAGING & SHIPPING costs

Are you as worried as we are about the plastic waste generated by online stores? By buying from The Honeyland you protect Nature and support the Italian circular economy.

1. Eco-friendly paper packaging. Since 2013 we have been the first shop that has chosen to use 100% recyclable paper packaging for packaging and filling. Even if the costs are higher, they are a guarantee for a lower environmental impact.

2. Glass packaging for approximately 90% of our products & shock protection for each product. We dedicate the utmost care and attention to the preparation of each package to ensure that the goods arrive intact to our customers, but this requires qualified labor . We are an ethical company whose employees are not exposed to exploitation and we pay taxes in Italy.

3. Shipping. For Italy we currently use GLS and BRT (Bartolini) couriers. For Venice and the Minor Islands (Elba, Ischia etc.) we use SDA courier.

Delivery time

By ordering only products in stock, the package will be prepared immediately and shipped in 1 or 2 days.
In Italy the goods are generally delivered in 2-3 working days . From the moment of sending, a delivery by express courier takes approximately 1 day in Northern and Central Italy, 1-2 in Southern Italy (including Calabria, Sardinia, Sicily and other islands).

The delivery times described are valid for orders placed from Monday to Friday by 5pm, excluding public holidays.

Once your order has been shipped we will notify you via email. Subsequently (usually during the evening) you will receive emails from the courier with the tracking code with which you can monitor the shipment.

Delivery address

The Honeyland gives you the possibility of using a delivery address different from the billing address.

We can send your package wherever it is most convenient for you: at home, at work, to a Fermopoint (BRT) or Parcelshop (GLS) point or to a friend! It is very important that a correct delivery address is indicated when ordering. We suggest reporting a place that is always manned by someone.

Delivery time

The courier is not required to give telephone notice. In normal daily operations, deliveries are made from Monday to Friday , depending on the organization of your distribution round:

• from 8.30 to 18.00

In the confirmation email for taking charge of your shipment , our BRT courier indicates an approximate delivery time, within a range of 2-3 hours.

Pick up from Fermopoint/Parcelshop stores and GLS/BRT locations

Have you chosen shipping to your home, but can't be at home on the delivery day? In this case you can choose the delivery location most convenient for you (newsstands, tobacconists, stationery shops, etc...), not only in Italy, but throughout Europe. How does it work?

1. GLS-Parcel Shops - you can choose from over 42,000 collection points across Europe.

In the shipping assignment email, you will find the link to access the gls.it website and you can select the Parcel Shop closest to your home.

2. BRT-Fermopoint - you can choose from over 3,800 collection points throughout Italy.

Using the link found in the shipping confirmation email, access the brt.it website. Then go to the "Delivery options" section and select the nearest BRT-fermopoint.

3. Collection at GLS / BRT locations. You can request the HOLD IN STORAGE at a specific GLS / BRT location where you can collect the package.

Refrigerated shipments

Given the increasingly hot summers with high temperatures, some customers have told us if there was the possibility of receiving the products in refrigerated packages to best preserve them even during transport.

We foresee an innovative highly insulated thermal envelope that manages to keep the temperature cool for approximately 48 hours. A suitable quantity of cooling gel will be inserted inside it depending on the size of the package and the external temperature. Refrigerated shipping is carried out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday .

Our isothermal packaging is produced in solvent-less plants and is certified for food contact and transport of medicines. It is washable and reusable , as is the cooling gel.

The cost of the service is fixed, equal to €8.90 and you can choose it directly when ordering. It applies in addition to the standard shipping cost, even in the case of free shipping. There is no service to smaller islands or remote locations.
