Description
Sardinian wild blackberry bramble honey is a very rare honey because it can only be produced in years when the rains last until the month of July, and for a land like Sardinia this is a truly rare event.
It is harvested in the Moniferru area, in central-western Sardinia, which is the largest volcanic complex on the island. Its coasts are characterised by steep cliffs that rise majestically out of the sea, while inland there are slopes that gently descend to plateaus. The territory is a succession of shady woods, fresh springs, sparkling waterfalls, ancient manor houses and important archaeological sites, populated by a varied fauna.
Blackberry honey is sweet and delicate, with a unique flavour of red berries and jam.
