Description
The organic catnip honey (camedrio maro) produced by our beekeeper Roberta Bonomo on the island of Capraia .
An incredibly rare, monoflora honey, which can only be produced in Capraia and on no other island in the Tuscan archipelago.
Harvest period : This honey is harvested in July
Characteristics :
- Color : clear, limpid.
- Consistency : liquid, may crystallize slowly.
- Taste : with floral notes and a persistent aroma reminiscent of the characteristic smell of Camedrio Maro.
Mediterranean scrub of the island of Capraia :
Capraia is the perfect paradise for bees, thanks to the total absence of pollution and intensive agriculture. The valleys on the slopes of the island are covered with the typical Mediterranean scrub and on the sides of the paths we can find Camedrio bushes everywhere, which when in flower are foraged by Roberta's bees.

Instructions
To be enjoyed at the end of a meal or as a sweet interlude during the day. The aromatic notes are combined with herbal teas, as a sweetener.
