Description

Organic Gyokuro green tea , harvested in Miyazaki prefecture, on the island of Kyushu in Japan, where the particularly hot climate enhances the characteristics of this tea.

Typical shadow tea , it is the most prized green tea in Japan whose meaning is " dew drops ". The main characteristic of Gyokuro tea is that approximately 20-25 days before being harvested, the plantations are completely covered with sheets to keep the plants in the shade.

This particular technique makes Gyokuro tea particularly rich in chlorophyll and L-theanine which greatly reduces the typical bitter and astringent flavor of common green teas or the less valuable Sencha. This makes Gyokuro green tea particularly delicious and fruity .

ORGANIC means without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

CHARACTERISTICS

Origin : Miyazaki Prefecture (Japan).

Needle-like leaves: cared for with extreme care to maintain their intact shape. Intense dark green color indicating the presence of chlorophyll.

Aroma : strong, with marine notes.

Color infused : intense green.

Taste : sweet, with marine notes.

Certification : DE-OKO-003

Packaging: Double layer bag (paper outside / aluminum inside). Zip closure, in this way the leaves retain all their freshness and aroma even after opening.

Instructions

How to prepare it at home

Quantity : 2-3g of product per cup (250ml)

First Infusion : Time 2-3 minutes / Water temperature: 60° C

Second Infusion : Time 40/50 seconds at 70° C

The leaves can also be used for the 3rd infusion.

When to serve it: During the day. To be enjoyed in moments of relaxation and peace.

Use the best water:
The water temperatures and infusion times indicated for good tasting include a type of water with a low fixed residue, around 20 - 40 mg/L
