Description
Our beekeeper, Aldo Cella, is one of the few beekeepers who has managed to produce organic Ailanthus honey, albeit in very limited quantities.
It is a honey of very limited production, stocks of which run out very quickly, harvested from the spontaneous flowers of this plant, known as the "Tree of Paradise" because of its height.
Ailanthus honey has a medium sweet fruity taste. It is reminiscent of white peach, with a hint of muscat and an aftertaste of peach tea.
Apicoltura Casa Pietra ailanthus honey is produced using organic beekeeping methods. It is not pasteurised. It is a raw honey that has not undergone any heat treatment.
It appears crystallised with fine crystals.

How to use
Due to its fruity flavor and its ability to harmonize a variety of different flavours, ailanthus honey is excellent:
along with fruit salads and ice creams
paired with dried cheeses.
