
Description
It is the last honey of the season that is harvested together with the honeydew.
All the Bonizzoni beehives are located in the Oltrepò Pavese and in the Ticino Park, areas where the spontaneous alfalfa blooms at the end of August and the beginning of September.
It is a crystallised honey with a light amber colour.
The aroma is faint but recognisable to the expert nose. The taste is medium sweet, delicate.
Luca Bonizzoni's alfalfa honey is produced using organic beekeeping methods. It is NOT pasteurised and has not undergone any heat treatment.

Instructions
As a sweetener in warm drinks and bedtime milk. In the preparation of desserts instead of sugar.
In the kitchen :
As breakfast or as a snack, spread on a buttered slice.
Also excellent in combination with fresh and mature cheeses (such as parmesan), and with polenta, adding it at the end of cooking.
To be enjoyed on bread canapés with peanut butter and in meat sauce.
You can use this versatile honey in polenta at the end of cooking, in the maturing of fresh cheeses, season them periodically with a veil of this honey diluted with good oil.
Notes : honey can be taken by children from the age of 1 year.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
