CHAWAN - Japanese ceramic matcha tea cup with metal interior .
Elegant ceremony cup characterized by a shiny surface, capable of illuminating the tea with its colours. In shades of medium dark beige on the outside (satin) and dark metallic gray (matte) on the inside. The green color of the matcha stands out within this chawan.
Made in an artisanal way following the tradition of the Mino Yaki area, an area of Japan famous for its stoneware ceramics. This chawan feels really good in the hands. It's not very heavy, it's easy to hold. The exterior is glazed while the opaque interior is slightly rough.
