
Description
Allegro organic extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the prized Coratina variety, cultivated in our producer's historic olive groves in Minervino Murge, in southern Italy. It has an exceptionally low acidity (0.17-0.20) and an intense flavour profile, with notes of freshly cut grass, almond, tomato and artichoke, enriched by pleasant bitter and spicy undertones.
The olives are harvested at the optimum moment and cold pressed (<27°C) the same day. The oil is stored in stainless steel tanks under nitrogen to preserve its freshness and quality over time.
