
Description
A truly special Oolong tea, harvested on the Himalayan slopes of Nepal at altitudes between 1600-2000m.
It is still processed in an artisanal manner directly on site. The freshly plucked leaves are expertly subjected to a low/medium oxidation process and rolled by hand.
The method of cultivation, the climatic conditions and the particular composition of the soil allow us to obtain an organic Oolong tea rich in antioxidant properties.

Origin: high Himalayan peaks, Nepal
Leaves: low/medium oxidation, rich in shoots
Perfume : aromatic and intense, with unripe, woody and spicy scents.
Taste : fruity, sweet and slightly astringent flavours.
The presence of caffeine helps to make it an excellent and healthier alternative to the classic cup of coffee.
WITHOUT : GMOs, dyes and synthetic flavors added.

Packaging : aluminum bag with zip closure, in this way the leaves retain all their freshness and aroma.
Instructions
An ideal oolong tea to drink in the afternoon.
It is excellent cold and therefore ideal for the summer season. A really useful drink to keep you hydrated and full of energy under the sun on hot summer days.
Preparation : preferable to use natural mineral water. If possible, use a terracotta or ceramic teapot.
Quantity : approximately 3 g (1 heaped teaspoon) per 150 ml of freshly boiled water.
Temperature: 80-85°C
Number of infusions: up to 3
Infusion time: 2-3 minutes.
Suggestions : recommended to drink between meals, plain or sweetened with a pinch of organic honey, avoid sugar and other sweeteners.
Oloong tea properties :
oolong tea has notable antioxidant properties as it is rich in the polyphenols quercetin and catechin. Recent studies carried out by the University of Colorado have also shown how oolong tea is effective in preventing and combating obesity and fatty liver.
Habitual consumption of organic oolong tea has proven effective in the following cases:
- Reduction of cholesterol: due to the effect of its antioxidants, oloong tea is useful for counteracting bad LDL cholesterol.
- Reduction of body weight: thanks to the presence of catechins which increase the metabolism and the levels of oxidation and thermogenesis, and thus cause an important fat burning effect.
- Type 2 diabetes: the polyphenols present in oolong tea positively influence glucose metabolism.
