
Description
A forest honeydew honey harvested mainly from Sicilian citrus groves grown following the organic method. There is also honeydew that bees collect from chestnut , fig , mulberry and pine trees .
A honey typical of this land with a less intense and sweeter flavor than the forest honeydews produced in other areas of Italy.

Organoleptic characteristics:
- Color : in the dark amber liquid state, it may present slight forms of crystallization.
- Smell : medium intensity, vegetal-fruity, of cooked fruit, of fig jam
- Taste : of a sweet different from forest honeydews.
- Aroma : of medium intensity, similar to the smell of fig jam, reminiscent of dried fruit and molasses.
Production method : it is a honey produced with organic beekeeping methods:
- Obtained without the use of chemical treatments
- Collected in pristine areas.
- Unpasteurized, with great nutritional value.
