Description

The high mountain wildflower honey collected by the beekeeper Alessandro Ansermé in the splendid Alta Valle di Champorcher, above 1400 meters above sea level, known by all mountain walking enthusiasts.

The hives are positioned in various naturalistic points including some privileged positions within the Mont Avic Natural Park , a protected natural area on the border with the Gran Paradiso National Park.

A honey that bees produce by collecting nectar from the different species of flowers, aromatic herbs and medicinal plants typical of the area which during the summer period color and perfume the meadows of this Valley. Among the main blooms:

Bistorta,
Thyme,
Raspberry
Rhododendron

A true delicacy also appreciated outside regional and national borders. It is a honey rich in nectars, with a sweet flavor but with many aromatic nuances.

Consistency : tends to crystallize with fine crystals.

Color : a dark wildflower with reddish tones.
