Description
Organic pollen collected by bees during the most abundant flowering periods in the unspoilt meadows and woods of the Dolomiti Lucane (Gallipoli Cognato Regional Park) in Basilicata, Italy.
The apiaries are located near the small village of Castelmezzano, known as the "City of Nature" and a member of the prestigious club of "I Borghi più belli d'Italia" (The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy). This stunning and unspoilt natural setting in southern Italy is home to magnificent birds of prey such as the red kite, kestrel and peregrine falcon.
Main flower sources
The pollen comes from a wide variety of flowers, mainly oak, dandelion, hawthorn, sulla, clover, melilot and blackthorn.
Thanks to its rich diversity of flowering sources, this organic pollen is of exceptional organoleptic quality and a valuable resource for general wellbeing.
Dehumidification process
The pollen is frozen immediately after collection and gently dehumidified at a maximum temperature of 30°C. The dehumidification process is carried out in small batches to ensure that the pollen remains fresh for as long as possible, preserving most of its active ingredients.
Method of production
This pollen is produced using organic beekeeping methods, respecting traditional craftsmanship and the bees and their hives as much as possible.
No chemical treatments.

Instructions
How to use :
Every single dehumidified organic pollen grain contains active enzymes in a concentrated form. The digestive system may not be accustomed to such a rich form of food. It is recommended to introduce pollen into your diet gradually.
Do not cook or add the granules to hot food. Heat destroys active enzymes and reduces nutritional value.
Fasting is the best time to eat pollen, which can be taken after a herbal tea (before breakfast) or between meals. It can be taken on its own or accompanied by a cold drink or a teaspoon of honey.
Recommended doses* : the optimal dose varies based on individual needs and the type of supplementation. As a nutritional supplement to improve nutrition the doses are:
Adults : 10-20 grams/day (2 teaspoons - 12 g)
Children : 5 grams/day for children (approx. 1 teaspoon).
For therapeutic use the doses can be increased according to the indications of your specialist.
Notes : Before taking a whole dose of pollen it is very important to test for possible allergic reactions by ingesting just one granule. Some allergy sufferers may have different reactions to the product. Gradually increase over a week until you reach a normal dose.
Storage method :
Once the package has been opened, it is recommended to keep it tightly closed in the fridge.
