For those who prefer to drink aloe vera that is more liquid and with less raw pulp, finely crushed. It is not completely filtered, but the fibrous part of the gel is not perceived on the palate as in Aloe Artesana Aloe Drinking Gel. The addition of organic lemon juice gives a fresh and pleasant taste even for those who do not like the natural taste of fresh aloe vera.
Local ORGANIC ALOE NATURA 2000 site
The plantation is located in the hinterland of the town of Águilas in the Murcia region (southern Spain) in a special protected area (SPA) between the Sierra Almenara, Moreras and Cabo Cope mountains, which form a "NATURA 2000 network site", a European area of interest for biodiversity.
The farm is located in a closed valley far from any form of pollution. This wild area surrounded by pristine mountains has not been cultivated for over 30 years. Today, only certified organic crops from native plants are allowed, which must meet strict conditions to preserve the balance of the ecosystem.
For outdoor cultivation (not in a greenhouse)
The plantation is located 10 km from the sea which, with its fresh sea breeze, attenuates the high summer temperatures, avoiding large thermal contrasts. Here the aloe can enjoy an average annual temperature of 19.7°C, the total absence of frost in winter, and 270 days of sunshine a year (50% more than what Aloe vera can normally enjoy in other territories).
Pure Water : The aloe plants are irrigated with pure spring water from the Sierra Almenara mountains.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Hand-cultivated: All land cultivation activities are manual. Even plowing is done with the help of mules. No tractors are used.
Freshness: Obtained from fresh, organic aloe vera leaves grown exclusively on the company's plantation. The gel is extracted within hours of leaf collection.
