Benefits: The use of the Propolair L3 propolis diffuser with ionizer is effective: in cases of asthma chronic bronchitis nervous tension and stress respiratory tract infections How does it work: Kontak PropolAir propolis diffusers use heat to extract and diffuse the volatile fraction of propolis into the environment. When turned on, the appliance heats the propolis contained in a capsule to pre-established temperatures. Once the optimal temperature has been reached, the volatile fraction is released and can thus be ingested both via respiratory and percutaneous routes. All Propolair propolis diffusers use standard Kontak capsules produced with pure Italian and certified organic propolis. Each capsule is disposable and has a shelf life of 122 hours. The L3 propolis diffuser with ionizer and fan is an easy and safe tool to use and can be kept on even during the night.

    Kontak propolis diffuser

    I got the model with fan. It doesn't disturb my sleep. When you wake up you can smell a good honey smell and you can also perceive a light balsamic effect in your throat. I am satisfied and will continue to use it to verify any long-term benefits.

    I purchased the “Propolair L3 wooden Propolis diffuser - Ionizer and fan” diffuser. I can't say for now whether it will have beneficial effects; the propolis capsule does not release any scent as I had hoped (I had read a description of a light scent of undergrowth, but I don't smell anything), but apart from that unfortunately I can't keep it on in the room during the night because the noise of the fan, which it starts every 10 seconds, during the day it is irrelevant but at night it disturbs a lot. Sin. Knowing this, I would have chosen the model without a fan, even if it has a diffusion radius of about half, 25/30 m2 compared to 60 for the fan. From an aesthetic point of view it is a beautiful object.

We report the manufacturer's response: To understand whether the diffuser is actually working correctly, you should check whether the propolis inside the capsule is melting (visual check) or whether the diffuser is heating the capsule by touching it after at least ten minutes after ignition (physical control).

    Not being a standard product, propolis (and therefore also the perfume) depends greatly on the area, the period and the vegetal origin of the harvest; you will find capsules that will smell more and others less, but this does not mean that the diffuser is not extracting the active ingredients. Consider that in the volatile fraction there are around 200 active ingredients (flavonoids, bioflavonides, terpenes, essential oils, etc) and the parts that give the fragrance are actually mainly linked to the presence of essential oils; if the propolis we use in this period has a low percentage of essential oils, you will automatically 'feel' little of the scent of the propolis but in reality the diffuser will still be extracting the rest of the active ingredients which are the most 'healing' part ( especially flavonoids and terpenes).'
