Description
Beeopak's Large Pak is perfect for wrapping cheese, fruit, vegetables, bread and herbs, for carrying sandwiches in your pocket and for covering dishes.
It contains 2 sheets of 40x40 cm.
Beeopak is the innovative, ecological food packaging for food preservation. It is biodegradable and made with organic and local raw materials from the Piedmont region. It is the eco-sustainable alternative to plastic wrap, aluminium foil and other highly polluting disposable materials.
HOW IS IT MADE?
Beeopak is a natural food packaging made from:
- Organic beeswax: sourced from small Piedmontese beekeepers who respect bees and the environment. Free from harmful chemical residues and substances such as paraffin and stearin. It helps keep food fresh for longer thanks to its breathability and antibacterial properties.
- GOTS certified organic cotton for yarn and dyes. Spun in Piedmont. Even the textures and designs are original and printed locally. The printing processes are formaldehyde-free and OEKOTEX certified.
- Organic IGP hazelnut oil: from the Alba and Langhe areas. It makes the film malleable and adaptable to any type of surface.
- Pine resin: an excellent adhesive that makes Beeopak easy to apply to food containers.
Even the packaging is made from recycled paper and contains no glue, so it can be recycled.
Both Beeopak and its packaging have the MOCA declaration of conformity for food contact. It is easy to wash and can be re-used for up to 1 year. Beeopak helps to significantly reduce the use of plastic and supports local manufacturing.
Each Beeopak sheet is handmade in Turin.
