AS DID?
Beeopak is a natural food film made with:
- Organic beeswax: coming from small Piedmontese beekeepers who respect bees and the environment. Free from harmful chemical residues and substances such as paraffin and stearin. It helps keep foods fresh for longer thanks to its breathable and antibacterial properties.
- GOTS certified organic cotton for yarn and dyes. It is spun in Piedmont. Textures and designs are also original and printed at 0 km. The printing processes are formaldehyde free and OEKOTEX.
- Organic PGI hazelnut oil : from the Alba and Langhe area. It makes the film mouldable and adaptable to any type of surface.
- Pine resin : excellent adhesive that makes beeopak easily applicable to food containers
Even the packaging is made with recycled paper and without glue so that it can be recycled in turn.
Both beeopak and its packaging have the MOCA declaration of conformity for being in contact with food.
It is easily washable and reusable for up to 1 year , beeopak helps to significantly reduce the use of plastic and encourages local production.
Each Beeopak sheet is produced by hand in Turin.
