Organic chestnut honey collected by Solmielato beekeeping in the natural parks of Calabria and Sicily.
These are some of the most beautiful naturalistic scenarios of the islands of southern Italy:
- Sila natural park (Calabria)
- Etna Natural Park (Sicily)
An uncontaminated wooded area at a height between 700 meters and 1000 meters where forests of oak, apple and chestnut trees grow luxuriantly.
A unique place where the presence of man is almost inextinguishable and for this reason bees can live undisturbed and collect the best nectar of chestnut flowers.
Organoleptic characteristics :
- Physical state : slow or non-existent crystallization when in total purity.
- Color : in liquid state it is dark.
- Smell : delicate but characteristic of the genus and chestnut flowers.
- Taste : bitter and aromatic, recalls the smell of chestnut flowers.
Production method : it is a honey produced with organic beekeeping methods. Obtained without the use of chemical treatments. Collected in uncontaminated areas.
Unpasteurized honey, with great nutritional value.
Instructions
Notes : honey can be taken by children from the age of 1 year.
Storage : store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
