Propolis Tincture is indicated against sore throats, burning sensations in the oral cavity or lowering of the voice due to drafts.
Suitable both for seasonal ailments and as a prevention to be used all year round, as propolis, considered the natural antibiotic, increases the body's immune defenses.
The organic propolis tincture solution is composed of organic propolis alcohol and water.
Alcohol is necessary to make propolis soluble and transmit its properties to the entire solution.
Advice* :
In case of sore throat: for adults, 20-25 drops 3 times a day, possibly between meals.
For children, max 10 drops 2 times a day.
As prevention : 10 drops once a day. Possibly accompanied with a teaspoon of honey to sweeten the taste.
It can also be used for oral rinses and gargles, at a dosage of 20-30 drops in half a glass of water two or three times a day, but it can exacerbate the burning sensation in cases of canker sores and other mouth lesions. Better then, in these cases, to resort to alcohol-free preparations.
