Description
A very rare honey, the organic silver fir honeydew harvested on the Asiago Plateau , at around 1,000 meters above sea level, in a splendid naturalistic setting with a view of the Dolomites and Mount Grappa. The Asiago plateau and its municipalities are an enchanting and relaxing place immersed in uncontaminated nature, a succession of woods enough to be an important green lung.
Renato Panciera, a mountain beekeeper, harvests a small quantity of this excellent honeydew in these woods. It is very different from classic forest honeydew.
It has an amber color, this year's is lighter than the classic color of white fir honeydew, it is slightly crystallized, creamy. The smell and taste are of medium intensity, and in the mouth it is not very sweet and persistent.
ARTISAN ORGANIC: Renato Panciera produces this honeydew in limited quantities as it is difficult to produce. It is collected exclusively from its Carnia and Ligustica bees.
