An ideal oolong tea to drink in the afternoon.
It is excellent cold and therefore ideal for the summer season. A really useful drink to keep you hydrated and full of energy under the sun on hot summer days.
Oolong tea can be enjoyed at any time of the day; however, due to its caffeine content, consumption in the evening is not recommended.
Preparation: it is preferable to use natural mineral water. If possible, use a clay or ceramic teapot.
Quantity: about 3 g (1 heaping teaspoon) per 200 ml of freshly boiled water.
Temperature: 100°C
Steeping time: 1-3 minutes.
Multiple infusions (3-4): the same leaves can be reinfused several times. The first infusion is more floral; subsequent steepings progressively become sweeter and honey-like, revealing new nuances with every cup.
Excellent cold as well
This Oolong is also highly suitable for cold brewing. The floral and honey notes become fresh and harmonious—an elegant and refreshing drink for summer.
Iced tea preparation:
12-14 g of tea (3-4 teaspoons) per 1 liter of water
Brew at 100°C, let cool, and store in the refrigerator
Warning: pregnant women should limit their daily tea consumption.
