Description

Lavender honey produced by the expert beekeeper Jerome Sarre who brings his hives every summer to the Alpes de Haute Provence (France), an area very renowned for its lavender crops intended for the production of essential oil.

Thanks to the lots of sun, in this area the flowers of true Lavender (L. angustifolia) and Lavandula (Lavandula Hybrida - hybrid species) have a very sweet nectar, which bees adore.

From these flowers this lavender honey is produced, among the most sought after and refined, with a characteristic intense aroma and a yellow color with golden reflections, different from that of the spontaneous flora, Maritime lavender (Lavandula stoechas), common in Spain and Sardinia.

Flavor : Fruity, sweet, aromatic,

Taste : sweet, with a herbaceous and fruity aroma. When tasted, it recalls passion fruit, fig, peach tea, nougat, in particular the external part with the wafer.

Consistency : initially liquid, it crystallizes finely resulting creamy.
