
Description
In the month of May, the beekeeper Filippo Leonardi brings its bees to the Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts of Calabria, where they collect nectar from the best organic lemon groves in the area, in complete tranquility and far from sources of pollution.
This lemon honey is a unique and precious product, which encapsulates the flavor and fragrance of the Calabrian sun. Its production takes place in respect for the environment and bees, using only organic methods.
For its delicate flavor and creamy consistency, lemon honey is an excellent honey for breakfast. It is naturally rich in enzymes and has a high nutritional value.
Organoleptic characteristics:
- Consistency: Spontaneous crystallization, with very fine crystal grains.
- Color: In the liquid state it is almost colorless or straw yellow, in the crystallized state it varies from pearly white or light beige
- Taste: Normally sweet, fine and creamy.
- Aroma: Medium intensity
Organic honey: It is a honey produced with organic beekeeping methods, obtained without the use of chemical treatments and collected in uncontaminated areas.
Raw honey: It has not undergone any heat treatment, thus preserving all its nutritional properties.
Guided crystallization: The guided crystallization process and subsequent storage at an optimal temperature of 12 °C allow this lemon honey to maintain a creamy consistency and a unique floral fragrance.
Instructions
Excellent for spreading on bread or as a sweetener.
Storage : store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
Notes : honey can be taken by children from the age of 1 year.
