
Description
Our beekeeper collects this linden honey in Val di Zoldo , in the Belluno Dolomites. A low mountain lime honey, collected at around 600 meters above sea level.
Unique natural areas, far from any source of pollution. Val di Zoldo, also called the " breath of the Dolomites " is one of the most uncontaminated natural areas of the Dolomites. In this area you get an excellent lime honey, very different from the honeys, even organic ones, that are usually collected from the linden trees in the plains, some even from the avenues in the city.
A linden honey with an intense flavour, reminiscent of mint and leaving the mouth feeling fresh.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Consistency : irregular crystallization that occurs within a few months.
Color : clear, when it crystallizes it takes on veins between white and straw yellow.
Smell : fresh, mentholated, pine resin.
Taste : Normally sweet and sour.
Quality ORGANIC ARTISAN
Production method : a honey produced with organic beekeeping methods, maintaining the artisan tradition, obtained without the use of chemical treatments. This honey has not undergone heat treatments and is not pasteurized, therefore it has great nutritional value.
Mountain harvest area. A mountain honey, harvested above 600 m in the period June.
Our beekeeper cares for his bees as if they were his family and is committed to the conservation of the native Carnica honey bee species .
