Description

Organic mandarin honey, a sweet novelty for lovers of citrus honeys.

In spring Solmielato beekeeping managed to produce this unifloral honey for the first time. Collected by bees among the organic citrus groves of the Piana di Sibari (Calabria) and the Piana di Catania (Sicily).

A rare and precious honey, creamy, sweet and delicate.

Organoleptic characteristics :

Consistency : spontaneous crystallization, with very fine crystal grain.
Color : in the liquid state it is almost colorless or straw yellow, in the crystallized state it varies from pearly white or light beige.
Aroma : delicate and fresh, of medium intensity
Flavour : normally sweet, fine and creamy, the taste is fruity and floral.

The guided crystallization process and subsequent storage at an optimal temperature of 12°C allow this mandarin honey to maintain a creamy consistency and a unique floral scent.

The organic mandarin honey from Solmielato beekeeping is NOT pasteurized and does not undergo any heat treatment. It is extracted by cold centrifugation and is obtained using organic beekeeping methods.

Packaging : recyclable glass packaging.

Instructions

Mandarin honey is excellent for spreading on bread, for sweetening drinks and herbal teas, for preparing desserts and as a condiment for fruit salads.

Storage : store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.

Notes : honey can be taken by children from the age of 1 year.
