Tahini is a delicious and very nutritious Middle Eastern specialty. In the kitchen it can find various uses, both in savory and sweet dishes. The best known is as a condiment in the preparation of humus (of chickpeas, peas or lentils).
I recommend The Honeyland for breakfast : try it spread on a slice of wholemeal bread accompanied by raw organic honey.
Soups & broths : added to soups, soups based on vegetables and cereals or in delicious sauces to spread on bread, the sesame cream gives a touch of special flavor making everything creamier.
Pasta salad or cold cereals : sesame cream is perfect for giving a creamy and tasty touch to your cold dishes such as pasta salads with vegetables and legumes.
Tahini sauce : essential in Arabic cuisine, it can be prepared by adding various spices such as garlic, rosemary, cumin or paprika to the tahini cream. The creaminess can be adjusted depending on use.
Halva : our Tahini is ideal for preparing halva at home, a dessert popular in Turkey and other Middle Eastern countries.
Notes : any oil surfacing is synonymous with the quality and authenticity of the product, because no thickeners are used. Mix before use.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry place.
