An intense fragrance reminiscent of sun-kissed Sardinian lands, with notes of licorice and mou candy.

Description

Fine organic eucalyptus honey, produced in the most uncontaminated areas of Sardinia.

Sardinian eucalyptus honey has an intense aroma, is less sweet than other honeys and leaves a slightly salty aftertaste.

Colour: light amber when liquid, beige tending to grey when crystallised.
Aroma: reminiscent of liquorice, toffee and dried mushrooms. With hints of bark moss.
Consistency: liquid to crystallised with very fine, compact crystals.
Taste: A less sweet honey with a surprising, slightly salty aftertaste.

Method of production: This honey is produced in the uncontaminated areas of Sardinia using organic beekeeping methods in accordance with traditional handicraft methods: it is obtained without the use of chemical treatments and is not heat-treated, making it highly nutritious.
