Sourced from our grower Damien Philibert's farm in Isère, France, these shelled organic Grenoble walnuts are exclusively of the Franquette variety, in-shell and vacuum packed.
The kernel is light in colour and has a delicate flavour with a hint of hazelnut.

Why we chose these walnuts
Our organic Franquette walnuts are characterised by:
- 0 km of walnuts: 100% grown, harvested, selected, dried and packed on the farm.
- No chemical residues: Walnut shells NOT bleached with chemical agents.
Preservation
Immediately after shelling, our walnuts are vacuum-packed on the farm, without any intermediate storage that would affect their crunchiness and increase the risk of aflatoxin contamination - a common problem in industrial products.
Vacuum packaging also protects the valuable fats and vitamin E in our walnuts from oxidation.
