This wildflower honey is collected exclusively from wild flowers in the area of Castelmezzano, a small village nestled in the Lucanian Dolomites.
The hives are located at 700-800 metres above sea level in an uncontaminated area, making it a truly prized honey.
In this honey the presence of: hawthorn, dandelion, blackthorn, rape and a little oak honeydew is predominant.
A sweet honey, but with small aromatic nuances that are very pleasant on the palate.
Finely crystallised a few months after harvesting, it is dense and creamy, perfect for spreading on good bread.
The organic wildflower honey from the Valle Natale farm is not pasteurised and does not undergo any heat treatment. It is obtained by cold centrifugation and is produced using organic beekeeping methods.
