Marlène Hahusseau is a young beekeeper who breeds her queens directly in order to maintain control over her colonies, which now number 180 hives. Her hives are located all year round in Cap Corse, one of the wildest places in Corsica, in apiaries where the bees find the necessary resources to meet their needs... she also ensures that the bees always have an adequate supply of honey.
It was mainly out of conviction that he decided to devote himself to organic beekeeping (there are only 15 certified organic beekeepers in Corsica). Her work with bees and her constant contact with the wild and unspoilt environment of the Cap Corse led her straight to this practice.
Her honeys are also AOP certified (the equivalent of our PDO).
