The chasen is an object linked to the cultural tradition of the Japanese tea ceremony . Chasen is essential for the preparation of an excellent matcha tea. Thanks to the particular shape and its noble fibers, a very homogeneous tea is obtained, without lumps.
Chasen is handcrafted from a bamboo cane which is carefully cut into very thin strips.
