Description

To collect his lime honey, Luca Bonizzoni takes his hives to Valsesia , on the slopes of Monterosa , every summer.

Valsesia is considered the greenest valley in Italy and in these naturalistic scenarios the bees collect nectars from the lime trees undisturbed. A honey that is decidedly different from the classic lime honey that most beekeepers collect along the city avenues.

A lime honey with an intense flavour, reminiscent of mint and leaving the mouth fresh.

Organoleptic characteristics :

Consistency : irregular crystallization that occurs in a few months.

Color : clear, when it crystallizes it takes on veins between white and straw yellow.

Smell : fresh, minty, of pine resin.

Taste : normally sweet and acidic.

Production method : a honey produced with organic beekeeping methods, maintaining the artisan tradition, obtained without the use of chemical treatments.
