The Cannizzaro Beekeeping Company was born in Caltagirone in1980thanks to Mr. Gaetano driven by a great passion born at an early age for the fascinating world of bees and their exceptional products. A family business, Gaetano and Vincenzo, "father and son" deal with the production of the various products of the beehive, Silvana, Erica and Denise "mother and daughters" deal with the honey extraction and the placing in jars. For years they have worked with conviction for the production of genuine, healthy, artisanal, quality honey as they used to do in the past.
The hives are mainly placed in theBosco di Santo Pietro nature reserve , one of the greenest and most luxuriant areas of theCalatino , located about 20km from the city of Caltagirone. Furthermore, all treatments against bee diseases are carried out exclusively withnatural products .
