The organic nuts of Cascina Dulcamara grown in an area surrounded by the woods of Ticino Park . These trees were planted in 1993 and thanks to cultivation with organic methods they have transformed over time into magnificent trees that bear excellent fruit.

The soil is completely grassed, and full of many variety of plants , eaten by numerous wild animals. The farm's beehives are also located in these lands, demonstrating the healthiness of the area.

The variety of walnut cultivated is Franquette, considered the best variety of French walnut due to the excellent quality of the fruit and is descended from that of Sorrento. It was in fact imported to France where it adapted to the harsher climate of the Grenoble region.

It is medium in size, with a slightly elongated and pointed shape. It has a rather hard shell. Its kernel is clear and has a delicate flavor with hints of hazelnut.
