Description
In contrast to our raw hazelnuts, these roasted hazelnuts are more crunchy and have the characteristic aroma of baked bread crust with a hint of caramel.
Roasting is in fact a type of processing that intensifies and enhances the already characteristic aroma and flavour of this variety. The heat applied enhances the flavour and aromaticity.
Only hazelnuts of the 'Tonda Gentile' variety, known as 'Trilobata', with a compact fruit of good size, renowned for its flavour, aroma and excellent shelf-life. The fruits come from organic and biodynamic hazelnut groves on the hills of Revigliasco (Piedmont), near the Maddalena Park.
All the stages of shelling, hulling and roasting are carried out in the company's own laboratory to guarantee complete traceability and care at every stage.
